Uploading an image to Shoppa's central database will result in the picture passing through an image handling before the image is stored on Shoppa's servers.
Uploading images to Shoppa's central database can be done in two ways. Either the image is uploaded by itself or the image is uploaded with an URI in the Mediablob.xml.
To optimize speed of the whole workflow from creating templates to printing in the stores, Shoppa automatically reduces image sizes if needed. Images larger than 2025 x 2025 pixels or 1 MB are compressed when imported to Shoppa's central database.
With the add-on "Bigger Pictures" you can import images up to 4000x4000 pixels or 3MB. Contact Shoppa for more information on how to enable it.

The same image will be used between multiple print formats in Shoppa. To ensure that the image works in all formats, we advise you to use an image resolution that works in the largest format you will print from Shoppa.
We recommend using at least 150 PPI for your images to ensure a good quality for printing. The area of the image box in Shoppa will determine what pixel dimensions are needed.
